How do I access the Membership Directory?
The Membership Directory can be found on the home page as the last item and also on the member benefits page as the first item. Click on Membership Directory. A login manager page comes up with an area to enter your username and password. You only need to enter your username and password if you would like to change your information. Click on Public Membership Directory on the left side of the page to search the membership directory. top
I moved or have a new email address. How do I change my contact information?
Click on Membership Directory on the home page. Log in to the ASBH Web site by entering your username and password. Click on Edit Your Information in the blue box on the left side of the page. Make changes to your name, address, email (email is under the Phone tab), etc. Click on Update Profile when finished. Or call Member Services at 847/375-4745 and a representative will help you. top
When do I need to log in as a member on the Web site?
You need to log in to change your profile information in the Membership Directory, to access the Members Only page, and to renew your membership if you are renewing online. top
How do I log in as a member on the ASBH Web site?
To log in as a member for the first time, enter your membership number as the Username and your last name as the Password. You will then be prompted to set up a new Username (usually your email address) and Password (a unique word of your choosing). Need more help? Call Member Services at 847/375-4745. top
Can I renew my membership online?
Yes. Log in to the site by entering your Username and Password. The Members Only page will appear. Click on Categories that is found below the word Membership. Click on Application for your member type (individual, student, or affiliate). Click on Join or Renew Membership Online. Click on Renew. top
How can I become more involved in ASBH?
There are many ways to become more active in ASBH. Becoming involved in an affinity group, serving on a committee or a task force, and serving as a reviewer or moderator for the ASBH annual meetings are all great ways to serve ASBH, network with your fellow friends and colleagues in the field, and have a direct impact on the direction and success of ASBH. Please complete and return the Volunteer Form along with your resume or CV that is on the Members Only page on the Web site. The Board appoints committees and tasks forces for the upcoming year usually in the fall. top
How can I get my meeting posted to the ASBH Web site?
The ASBH Board of Directors considers endorsement requests from ASBH members. Please see ASBH’s Sponsored and Endorsed Meetings Policy and the Endorsed Meeting Information form on the Endorsed Meetings page. top
Does ASBH have Discussion Boards or Bulleting Boards?
Yes. Each affinity group has its own discussion board in the Members Only section of the Web site. On the Members Only page, click on Discussion Boards-Bulletin Boards and Affinity Groups. There are also bulletin boards for the ASBH Annual Meeting and a general bulletin board where you can post your own questions and announcements. top
Where are the ASBH Discussion Boards?
As an ASBH member, you have access to the discussion boards in the Members Only area of the ASBH Web site. On the Members Only page, click on Discussion Boards-Bulletin Boards and Affinity Groups. top
How do I post an announcement on a bulletin board or discussion board?
Once you log in to the ASBH Web site as a member and click on Discussion Boards-Bulletin Boards and Affinity Groups, you will be able to view all of the discussion boards. Just click on a topic to view the postings in that section (for example, click on Bulletin Board-General to see the postings). To post an announcement of your own, you must register by clicking on Register at the top of the discussion board page. You will be prompted to agree to the terms and then enter your email address and a unique password. Once registered, you can post. top
