Alden March Bioethics Institute (AMBI) Albany Medical College http://www.amc.edu/Academic/bioethics AMBI has offered courses toward an interdisciplinary master of science in bioethics online (30 graduate hours credit required) since 2006. The program provides mid-career professionals and highly motivated post-baccalaureate students with an opportunity to supplement their current educational or career training with cutting-edge, innovative, and challenging coursework in bioethics, healthcare law, and health policy. For those interested in a clinical focus within the master's program or as independent course of graduate study, a certificate of clinical ethics series (12 graduate hours credit required) is available. The certificate in clinical ethics program includes a nine-day intensive onsite capstone which features mock ethics consultation experiences with actors portraying standardized patients in paradigm case scenarios.
